Fresh orange juice with ginger and a dash of lemon make a refreshing drink.

  • cups Water
  • 1 cup Orange juice (freshly squeezed)
  • tablespoon Ginger (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Rock salt (optional)
  • White pepper powder (optional)
  • 3 Cinnamon sticks (optional)
  1. In a pan, heat the water and ginger. Bring to a boil and simmer for 7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Strain to remove the ginger pieces. 

  3. Strain and pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice into the hot liquid. Stir well.

  4. Add the honey and lemon juice. Mix and taste to adjust the balance of sweet and tart.

  5. If using the rock salt and white pepper powder, add a pinch of each.

  6. Pour into cups, dunk in the cinnamon sticks and serve hot.
